Linking the vehicle tracker
Instructions for mobile
Scan the IMEI QR code on the tracker (see picture below) using the "Scan QR" "Scan QR" functionality in the Trackinno Mobile.
Select "GPS Tracker" as the tag type.
If the vehicle is already in Trackinno, you can select "Existing asset" and search for the vehicle by registration number.
If the vehicle has not yet been added to Trackinno, you can create a new vehicle by selecting "New asset".
Installation of the vehicle tracker to the OBD port
After linking, connect the vehicle tracker to the vehicle's OBD port.
All OBD ports have a connector as shown in the picture below. (color may vary)
The location of the OBD port varies somewhat depending on the vehicle, but it is usually found on the driver's side next to/under the steering wheel.
Sometimes the port is hidden, so it may be worth looking in other places if necessary.
Installation of the vehicle tracker to the battery
Connect the red wire of the vehicle tracker to be attached to the battery directly to the "+" terminal of the battery and the black wire to the "-" terminal of the battery.
Attach the vehicle tracker to a suitable place (e.g., on top of the battery) using the double-sided tape on the vehicle tracker.
