Assets can be added to Trackinno one by one or by importing an Excel list of existing assets. Trackinno team will import the Excel list for you as part of the commissioning.
There are two steps in adding assets: 1) importing asset information to the system, and 2) linking the tag and the asset to one another.
1) Adding a new asset

Select New asset on Trackinno's Home view.
Fill asset information and tap Create.
Instructions for desktop
Go to Assets page by clicking Assets on the side menu.
Click New asset button on the upper right corner.
Fill asset information and click Create asset.
2) Linking the tag and the asset

Scan the tag attached to the asset with Trackinno Mobile application.
Select the type of tag attached to the asset
Select "Passive tag QR/NFC" if the tag is an QR/NFC
Select "Active tag (Bluetooth)" if the tag is an active tag (e.g. Eye Beacon or Micro Viking)
Select "GPS Tracker" for GPS trackers (e.g. vehicle gps tracker or battery powered gps tracker). Note that IMEI number must be entered for the gps locators in the identifier field.
Select New asset to fill in asset's information. Alternatively select Existing asset to choose the right asset on the asset list.

Instructions for desktop
Go to Assets page and click the asset on the list that you want to link the tag to.
In the asset information, you can find the Tags section. Click Link tag to asset button.
Select the type of tag attached to the asset
Select "Passive tag QR/NFC" if the tag is an QR/NFC

Check the tag's identifier and write it to the identifier field.
Finish by clicking Pair tag.
