Trackinno has list views for example on Assets, Usages, and Tasks pages. In addition to filtering options, lists also have other features to make it easier to find and edit the information you need.

This article contains the following topics:

1. Selecting tools and bulk editing

Selecting tools appear above the lists when a row is selected. You can select a row by clicking the checkbox on the left.

Selecting tools differ depending on the list. Here, we'll go through which selecting tools are available on the Assets page.

  • Clear selection: Unselect all selected assets.

  • Show only selected: Shows only the selected rows on the list. This is a handy feature for example when you have selected rows from many pages of the list (see the example below).

  • Bulk edit: You can edit a specific property of multiple assets at once, add attachments to all the selected assets, or remove many assets at once.

  • Other actions: You can create a usage or task for the selected assets. You can also export the information of selected assets or show the assets in a calendar or map view.

2. Organizing rows based on a specific property (column)

You can organize rows in ascending/descending order based on specific properties (columns) by clicking that columns heading. The headings of the columns by which the rows can be ordered are shown in grey color. By clicking the heading again, you can order the columns again in ascending/descending order.

In the example below the rows are organized in ascending order by ID. If you click the heading again, the rows will be organized in descending order by ID.

3. View settings

You can change what columns are shown on your lists and in which order.

  1. Click View options above the list.

  2. In the left you can see available data fields and in the right the ones that are already chosen to be shown the list view.

  3. Add the fields you want to show on the list to the right side. You can also change the order of the fields.

  4. Click Save.

4. Exporting information

Exporting the selected rows

  1. Select the rows you want to export.

  2. Click Other actions button above the list and select Export.

  3. Choose from the list, which data fields you want to include in the export.

  4. Click Export.

Exporting all rows

This feature is only available on the Asset page.

  1. Click the βš™ icon next to the New asset button.

  2. Select Export all.

  3. Choose from the list, which data fields you want to include in the export.

  4. Click Export.

On other pages you can first select all the assets and then follow the steps of the Exporting the selected rows instructions.
